Welcome to SoySisters. We are a family owned company operating out of Austin, Texas, since September 2002. SoySisters is very proud of the soy candles we provide to you, our customer. Because of you we are no longer pouring candles out of our mother’s kitchen as a hobby. For that we Thank You and our mothers thank you, too! Your continued business and word of mouth has helped us to triple in size over the past few years. At SoySisters we recognize that in order to keep you coming back we have to continue providing you with what we feel is the very best soy candle on the market today. In order to do this we use only the highest quality ingredients. Unlike some soy candle manufacturers we don’t just buy a fragrance from the shelf and go with it. Each fragrance is carefully selected and tested for blend and scent before we put it on the market. We make sure that the fragrance you experience the first time you light up your candle is the same all the way to the bottom of your candle. The types of wicks we use are essential in giving you a clean long-burning soy candle. In our votives and 8 oz. containers we use a 100% unbleached cotton wick with a paper core. In our 12 oz containers we use a 100% unbleached cotton wick with a hemp core. We do the same extensive testing on our wicks as we do on our fragrances. It doesn’t matter how good the fragrance is if the wick does not burn properly. The approximate burn time on our votives is 15 hours, 8 oz. 65 hours and our 12 oz. 85 hours.
